Visa
If you do not purchase the Jordan Pass, here’s what applies. Most nationalities need a visa to visit Jordan. Citizens of GCC countries and a few others do not need a visa.
The easiest option is to apply for an e-visa online before arrival. Visas can also be purchased upon arrival in Jordan. Most citizens can apply for a visa at all airports and at the following border crossings between Jordan and Israel: King Hussein Bridge (Northern Jordan) and Wadi Araba Crossing (near Aqaba/Eilat).
A visa fee of 40 Jordanian dinars (JOD) applies. At Queen Alia International Airport (Amman), the fee can be paid by credit card or cash. At some border crossings, payment is usually cash-only and in local currency.
