In Amman, you can choose between regular taxis (yellow or white), ride-hailing apps like Uber or Careem, and shared taxis (called "service taxi") for a cheaper ride. Shared taxis follow set routes and pick up multiple passengers – just tell the driver your destination before hopping in! Short trips within the city is usually no more than 0.5–1 JOD.
