What to expect:


Day 1:

06:00 AM Leave Amman

07:30 AM Arrive at the border.

08:30 AM Enter Syria

10:00 AM Arrive in Damascus Old City

10:15 AM Arrive at the hotel, leave the luggage at the reception, and meet the tour guide.

11:00 AM Start the guided tour in Old Damascus City with a traditional breakfast.

12:00 PM Visit the following sites:

  • Al-Hamidiyah Souq: A bustling, covered market in the Old City known for traditional goods, spices, and the famous Bakdash ice cream.
  • Al-Azem Palace:  An 18th-century palace in the Old City, serving as an example of traditional Damascus architecture and a museum.
  • Umayyad Mosque (Great Mosque of Damascus): A premier, historic Islamic monument renowned for its architecture and history.
  • Saladin's Mausoleum: The resting place of the famous medieval sultan, located near the Umayyad Mosque.
5:00 PM: Finish the tour at a Syrian traditional restaurant in an old Syrian house for dinner

7:00 PM: Check in to the hotel


Day 2:

08:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel
09:00 AM: Depart from Damascus to Maaloula: A historic Christian town with charming painted houses and cliffside caves. Here, the Aramaic language, spoken by Jesus Christ, is still used. Visit monasteries, meet residents, and immerse yourself in Maaloula’s unique traditions and cultural heritage.
10:00 AM: Arrival in Maaloula
12:00 PM: Depart for Krak des Chevaliers: This 12th-century Crusader castle dominates the Homs Gap with its fortified walls, towers, and expansive courtyards. Walk through its grand halls and imagine the knights who once defended this masterpiece of medieval architecture, reflecting Syria’s rich historical legacy.
1:00 PM: Lunch break
2:30 PM: Arrival at Krak des Chevaliers
5:00 PM: Depart for Damascus
8:00 PM: Arrive back at the hotel in Damascus

Day 3:

08:30 AM breakfast

09:00 AM: Check out and leave the luggage at the reception

09:30 AM: Visit the following sites:

  • National Museum of Damascus: A prominent cultural hub housing extensive collections of ancient Syrian artifacts and antiquities.
  • Sulaymaniyya Takiyya: An important Ottoman-era complex, known for its mosque and artisan shops.
  • Old City Gates and Walls: Seven historical gates, including Bab Touma and Bab Sharqi, that represent centuries of history.
  • St. Ananias Church: One of the oldest Christian sites in the Old City.
15:00 Leave Damascus for Jordan
16:30 Arrive at the border crossing
19:00 Enter Jordan
20:00 Arrive in Amman

The price for the trip varies (depending on the number of people), is calculated per person, and is actual if paid by cash* (+5% if paid by car):

2 people = 400 JOD each

3 people = 350 JOD each

4 people = 325 JOD each

5 people = 300 JOD each

6 people = 300 JOD each

7 people = 300 JOD each

Good to know before traveling to Syria:

  • Please ensure that your nationality allows you to obtain a visa on arrival; otherwise, you will need to arrange your visa in advance.
  • Jobs such as journalist, politician, or related positions may prompt additional questioning from immigration authorities, which could lead to delays. We recommend avoiding declaring such occupations during your immigration process.
  • Prohibited items: Drones, Professional cameras with large lenses, any type of weapon

Cancellation Policy

The full amount will be refunded if the trip is canceled more than 24 hours before the scheduled trip time.
